GOOD WEB LINKS

This link will take you to a substantial discussion of Daylight Saving Time, including detailed history, attractive graphics, and a calculator that enables you to find out the dates for Daylight Saving Time from 1900 to 2099. I found the section on the effects of the 1973 Arab Oil Embargo especially interesting.

Much of the information on the Web Exhibits site is adapted from this California Energy Commission site, but I found this site interesting in its own right. Apparently California is interested in being on Daylight Saving Time year round to save energy.

Here you will find what the U.S. Naval Observatory has to say about daylight saving time.
